Hoven is an idyllic little town. The name means “God’s temple” i.e. a holy place. Hoven is home to “Kvindehøjskolen”, which, from 1891 to 1926, was a residential school where young women could train to become teaching assistants. You can take a journey back in time if you visit the old school room, with the original interior from 1907.

Tirsbjerg Plantation is also well worth a visit. Take any path to experience nature at first hand.
